Vazisubani Estate is presented by the unfiltered dry wines made by qvevri traditional technology: Kisi, Khikhvi, Rqatsiteli, Kakhuri Mtsvane and Saperavi. Qvevri is the traditional clay vessel used by Georgians during the centuries for processing the grape juice.
It is worth admitting that recently influential British newspaper The Independent named the best 14 wines of Eastern Europe. From Georgia among the bests was named qvevri-made Saperavi by Vazisubani Estate.
Vazisubani Estate is the complex, consisted of the vineyard, stretched over 35 hectares, restored wine cellar and the palace. The company owns the vineyard in Kakheti, Georgia’s most traditional wine making region, in the best micro zones of Mukuzani and Vazisubani. The wine is made from the selected grape harvest grew in these vineyards.
Now Vazisubani Estate produces 250 000 bottles of wine per year, 40 percent is sold on domestic market, 60 percent is exported to Canada, China, Ukraine and United Kingdom. It is planned to enlarge the export market.
Vazisubani Estate was presented on largest wine fair in Krakow, Poland – the International Wine Trade Fair in Krakow ENOEXPO.
